Privacy

Simple and
respectful.

This page explains what the site stores when you choose to use an interactive feature.

What is collected

Only what is needed.

When you submit a question for Dainyel, the site stores your selected topic, question and any nickname you choose to add. Questions are private until Dainyel decides to publish an answer. Community questions and replies use a nickname, topic and message only; each one stays private until Dainyel approves it for public display.

When you join Field Notes, the site stores your email address and your consent to receive occasional site updates. The email list is not public. You can ask to be removed by contacting Dainyel through Instagram ↗.

The website uses Firebase for Authentication, App Check and Firestore to run the protected Q&A, location update and Field Notes features. Videos and embeds from third parties such as YouTube or Instagram may apply their own privacy policies when you choose to load them.

This note will be updated when the site adds a dedicated email delivery provider or another visitor feature.
